Somewhere along the way we traded following Jesus for creating a tame, moldable, silent Jesus who doesn’t mind following us. The church is waning influence on the culture directly connected to Jesus’ waning influence on the church. Allow me to reintroduce this Jesus. To recast Christianity in a land of so many misrepresentations makes the truth sound like a reinterpretation. But dangerous imposters will give way to what’s more dangerous:

the real Jesus.
